Support
Questions, bugs or ideas: write to support@duckylabs.tech. Please include your iPhone or iPad model, the iOS version and, if it's about a timetable, the link to the GTFS feed you use.
What you need
- iOS or iPadOS 27.
- A GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) feed for your area, as a link or a .zip file. Once it's downloaded, WrooblyBus works offline.
Common questions
Where do I find a GTFS feed?
Many transit agencies and rail operators publish one on their website, often under "open data" or "developers". The Mobility Database lists thousands of feeds from around the world. In WrooblyBus, go to Settings › Update GTFS Feeds and paste the link under Add Custom Feed URL, or choose Import .zip from Files.
My feed won't import
WrooblyBus needs a GTFS Schedule .zip that contains at least stops.txt, routes.txt, trips.txt and stop_times.txt. GTFS-Realtime links won't work. Keep the app open while a feed downloads and imports; large feeds can take a minute.
Are the departure times live?
No. WrooblyBus shows scheduled times from the feed you added. It doesn't show vehicle positions or delays, so check with the operator when timing matters.
Times look wrong or a stop shows no departures
The timetable may have expired or changed. Update the feed: in Settings › Update GTFS Feeds, swipe left on the feed and tap Update. Times are shown in the transit agency's time zone, as in its printed timetables.
No stops appear near me
Closest Stops uses your location to sort the stops in your installed feeds. Check that location access is on (Settings › Apps › WrooblyBus › Location), and that you've added a feed that covers where you are. You can always search for a stop or browse the Map.
The widget doesn't show my stop
Touch and hold the widget, choose Edit Widget, and pick a stop. Starred stops are suggested first.
Does WrooblyBus collect my data?
No. See the Privacy Policy.
